Deep Thoughts

"I love you so much, Mommy, because the world is black."

"Jesus died on a cross." (I learned this in Sunday school. I now ask Mommy to role play this with me: "You be the soldier, I'll be Jesus.")

"I want my chocolate bunny." (Didn't convince them.)

"I didn't watch TV already this morning." (I say this whether or not its true, to plead my case for getting to watch TV).

"Please, God, help Mommy get her cold away." (It worked! She's healthy now!)

"Don't make the sun go down, God. We want to go outside!"

"When you need help, you say like this: "CAAAALEB!""

"I can't do it, Mommy. I'm sorry. There's just no way to do it." (when she asked me to pretend to fix something)

"You can do it, Mommy. You're strong! You have big muscles to do it." (when I wanted her to lift the lid on the toilet tank so I could see in it and she told me that it was heavy)

"One a ponce a time, there was a castle..." (me reading a book aloud)

"You have your sunshine glasses on."

Today was a busy water day. I poured water out of a pitcher onto a plate (and the table and a chair and the floor), I washed a kleenex box by holding it under the tap and pouring water into it (Daddy said it was broken then, and I told him to fix it in the garage), AND I even had a bath.

What will tomorrow bring?

We'll just have to wait and see.

It looks like you're happily working the camera again, Caleb... Good to see. Though it is sometimes such a burden, we beautiful people must not deny the masses the joy of our photographs...
