Waking up happy!
Well, its late Thursday night and I am still bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, playing in my playpen while Mommy types this for me. It (the playpen) is a great space, because my toys can't get so far from me that they are out of my reach. Soon, however, that won't be an issue because I am getting more mobile every day, rolling and pushing myself around backwards, sideways and in circles on the floor. And I am getting really good at rocking back and forth on my hands and knees...practicing up for that big moment when I take off crawling. I can even get up onto my hands and knees from my tummy sonetimes by myself!
Good news - Mom switched my cereals again and I am now enjoying wheat. Just one more to try (oats, if Mom and Dad can find any at the store) and then on to vegetables. Sure is too bad that the chin and cheeks can't absorb nutrients, beacuse that seems to be where a lot of my food ends up.
Yesterday morning, I woke up happy, and just lay there playing with my stuffed animals (Aspen the doggy and Ahgoo the bear) and my soother in my crib. Mommy came in to find me all smiley and pleased with myself. It happened again today, after my morning nap. But just to keep them on their toes, I wake up crying loudly sometimes, too!
Well, Mommy looks tired, so I guess I'll wrap this up and think about going to bed.
